Terms & Conditions

Clinic Hub: Deposit, Consultation, Cancellation and Prescribing Terms

These terms apply to all bookings made through Clinic Hub and any participating independent clinic. By making a booking and paying a deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted the following conditions.

1. Mandatory Consultation Deposit

All appointments require a mandatory, non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The deposit secures dedicated clinical time, administrative preparation and access to a professional healthcare consultation. Without payment of the deposit, an appointment cannot be confirmed.

2. Consultation Only

No Guarantee of Prescription, Medication or Outcome

The booking deposit and any associated consultation fee are strictly for access to a clinician or service assessment only.

Payment of a deposit does not guarantee:

  • A prescription;

  • Supply of medication;

  • A specific treatment;

  • A particular clinical outcome;

  • Patient satisfaction with clinical advice.

All prescribing and treatment decisions remain subject to professional clinical judgement, safety considerations, and legal prescribing requirements. Under no circumstances should any booking or payment be interpreted as purchasing a medicine, prescription or guaranteed intervention.

3. Independent Clinical Judgement and Prescribing Standards

All consultations are conducted in accordance with UK law, including the Human Medicines Regulations 2012, and professional standards set by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and relevant regulatory guidance.

Prescribers retain full autonomy at all times. Decisions to prescribe, recommend, supply or decline treatment are based solely on clinical assessment, patient safety and professional responsibility. No payment, advertisement or patient request will influence prescribing decisions.

The clinic does not operate a “pay for prescription” model.

4. Eligibility, Screening and Clinical Suitability

Certain services — including but not limited to weight management treatments, hormone therapies (HRT and TRT), dermatology services and aesthetic procedures — require clinical screening and risk assessment.

Where a patient does not meet eligibility criteria, or treatment is deemed clinically inappropriate, unsafe or not in the patient’s best interests, the prescriber may decline treatment. The consultation will still be considered fulfilled as a professional service.

Patients are responsible for providing accurate and complete medical information. Failure to disclose relevant information may result in treatment refusal without refund.

5. Non-Refundable Deposit Policy

Deposits are strictly non-refundable. This applies in all circumstances including, but not limited to:

  • Non-attendance (“no-show”);

  • Late arrival preventing safe consultation;

  • Change of mind;

  • Failure to meet clinical eligibility;

  • Dissatisfaction with clinical advice or outcome;

  • Where medication is not prescribed or supplied.

The deposit reflects clinical time reserved, administrative preparation and operational costs incurred by the clinic.

6. Appointment Changes and Rebooking

If you need to amend your appointment, you must contact the clinic directly. Where reasonable notice is provided, the clinic may, at its sole discretion, offer one alternative appointment suitable to its availability.

A £20 rebooking administration fee will apply and must be paid at the pharmacy or clinic when attending the rescheduled appointment. Rebooking is not guaranteed and remains subject to clinic capacity.

7. Missed Appointments and Late Attendance

Failure to attend an appointment, or arrival too late for safe consultation, will result in full forfeiture of the deposit. The clinic is under no obligation to offer a replacement appointment, and future bookings may require a new deposit.

8. Responsible Advertising and Patient Expectations

Service descriptions are provided for general information only and do not constitute a promise or guarantee of treatment. The clinic follows UK advertising standards, including MHRA and ASA guidance, ensuring that prescribing and clinical care remain patient-centred and not commercially driven.

9. Safeguarding, Misuse and Clinical Boundaries

The clinic reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services where there are concerns relating to patient safety, inappropriate expectations, coercion for medication, or potential misuse of treatments. Prescribers may request further information, decline treatment or end a consultation where clinically necessary.

10. Fairness and Consumer Rights

These terms are intended to be fair, transparent and compliant with UK consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. The clinic may consider reasonable exceptions in exceptional circumstances at its absolute discretion.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By completing a booking, paying a mandatory deposit or attending a consultation, you acknowledge that you are purchasing access to a professional healthcare consultation and that you accept these Deposit, Consultation, Cancellation and Prescribing Terms in full.
